Are TyreSwift AI inspection solutions compatible with all types of vehicles?
All TyreSwift AI vehicle inspection solutions are suitable for passsenger cars, SUVs and LCVs. The drive-through installation can also be configured for larger commercial vehicles up to 2.95m in height
Can AI inspection solutions for body damage be deployed outside?
Yes. The drive-through body damage inspection solution can be deployed outside at a site entrance, in a car park, or within a service lane. No additional protection for the installation is required. The mobile inspection web app can be used wherever a Wi-Fi (or network data) signal is available.
Can AI body damage inspection be combined with tyre and underbody inspection?
Yes. TyreSwift can offer additional modules for tyre tread depth, tyre sidewall reading and underbody inspection. Please contact us for more information.
Does the AI-based inspection require any input or manual adjustments?
No manual intervention is required. The AI autonomously analyses images taken using the web app, or captured as a vehicle passes through the drive-through installation, detecting damage and vehicle condition. Full reporting with the option of repair costs is then generated automatically.
How long does an AI vehicle inspection take?
For the drive-through installation, the scanning time is 5 – 10 seconds, at a vehicle speed of 5mph. The guided walkaround inspection using the mobile web app is typically completed in 3 to 5 minutes. Full inspection reports are generated and available in under 2 minutes.
Can the AI inspection solutions be integrated with existing business systems and software?
Yes. Inspection data and reporting from our AI inspection solutions can be integrated into your existing business systems and inspection processes using an API.
Do the AI inspection solutions need to be used by skilled operators or technicians?
Not at all. The mobile app based solution has a user-friendly, intuitive interface with on-screen instructions, overlaid image ‘masks’ to frame a correct photo, and audible cues. Image quality feedback is provided in real time. This makes the web app very suitable for inspections carried out by a vehicle owner or driver, or by industry professionals, such as vehicle collection and delivery drivers. The drive-through vehicle inspection installation is fully automated and requires no human intervention.
Does a vehicle need to be prepared or cleaned ahead of Inspection?
Vehicles should be clean and dry. By using the very latest inspection AI, false positives caused by dirt and water droplets are minimised.
